The Terengganu Public Works Department (JKR) is seeking RM231 million from the federal government to repair roads damaged by floods in the state.Its director, Datuk Shafii Mohamad said about RM200 million was needed to repair federal roads and another RM31 million for state roads.He said this after accompanying Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman in inspecting a collapsed section of Jalan Kampung Shukor-Pasir Raja in Hulu Dungun today.Ahmad Razif said the state government had allocated RM100,000 to upgrade Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Pasir Raja which was frequently used as a relief centre when floods hit the village. – Bernama, January 11, 2015.
